About
The Kyle’s day foundation was founded by first responders in Kyle’s name to promote peer support for law enforcement, fire fighters, dispatchers and EMS professionals. Our mission is to provide events for this community of heroes to get together and foster relationships outside of work. We feel the biggest resource for these individuals are their peers. Through our events, we hope to grow peer relationships that can be utilized as peer support in crisis in addition to being a resource to mental health professionals.
Executive Team
Courtney Meininger
Executive Director
Courtney is a UNMC nursing graduate with a bachelor’s degree and is currently employed with Regional West Medical Center. Courtney has been in healthcare for 9 years. She has most recently accepted a position at Regional West to be a Clinical Support Manager. Courtney is currently enrolled at Colorado Chrisitan University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in PTSD and trauma.
Dereck Narvais
President
Dereck is currently employed with Air Link at Regional West Medical Center as a Flight Paramedic. He has long history as an EMS clinician in the panhandle of Nebraska. He holds the NREMT-P and FP-C certifications in addition to many other EMS certifications.
Haelee Brown
Vice President
Haelee is the Supervisor of Air Link Dispatch and Transfer Center at Regional West Medical Center. She has been in Air Medical Dispatch for 14 years. Haelee holds an IAMTCS certification in addition to currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Communications.
